Meet the Team
Alison Skeldon
CEO
About Alison
Alison joined LVV in August 2022.
She has over twenty years’ experience overseeing operations and strategy in aged and community care services across Gippsland. Most recently, she worked for eight years at Executive Director level at Latrobe Community Health Service. She has strong connections to the aged care sector as well as a track record in successfully managing and adapting to changing policy and systems. Alison has previously managed community based aged care services, the Aged Care Assessment Service and a wide range of community support programs in the Latrobe Valley. Alison holds a Graduate Diploma in Business and Technology from the University of NSW and Associate Diploma in Welfare from Monash University.
Alison moved to Gippsland 28 years ago; she has lived in East Gippsland and Baw Baw Shires and now lives in Traralgon with her husband where she enjoys caring for and walking their twin rescue greyhounds, and amateur photography.
Alison has a strong commitment to providing resident-focused services that recognise the unique worth and experience of every individual; and delivering quality care that fosters independence and dignity. She feels honoured to have been appointed to the CEO role and looks forward to working with the staff and Board of Governance to realise their vision for the residential aged care facility and retirement village.
Shonna Brown
Director Resident Care
About Shonna
Shonna has experience across several roles since joining LVV in 2019. Most recently Shonna was appointed to the Director Resident Care role and is responsible for planning and delivery of our clinical care services and supporting a 100+ team of Personal Care Assistants, Enrolled and Registered Nurses and care administration staff.
Shonna completed her Bachelor of Nursing in 2004 and completed her Graduate year at Monash Medical Centre Clayton and Moorabbin. Shonna is passionate about maintaining the strong level of clinical care offered at LVV and supporting all care staff to be able to work at their best.
Katie Birch
Clinical Care Coordinator
About Katie
Katie has worked as a Registered Nurse at LVV since 2011 and was promoted to the role of Clinical Care Coordinator in 2020. She has over 30 years nursing experience having completed her Bachelor of Nursing in Bendigo and returned to the Latrobe Valley region working largely within the Hospitals.
Katie is well regarded for supporting the nursing and care teams and the nurturing care shown to the residents of LVV and her widespread experience in aged care nursing.

Aaron Wilson
Environmental Services Manager
About Aaron
Aaron has been with LVV since 2008 and is responsible for coordinating cleaning and laundry services, facility and grounds maintenance, and emergency planning, including the 52-unit retirement village. His role involves coordinating contractors and suppliers to achieve project goals.
Aaron has worked in residential aged care for more than 20 years and has strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Aaron is committed to ensuring residents, staff and visitors to LVV experience a safe, clean, and attractive living and working environment. Aaron has a long history of voluntary community service and brings this commitment to the Village.
Stephen Luke
Food Services
Manager
About Stephen
Stephen has over 20 years’ experience as a qualified chef working within hospitals in the local area. Stephen joined LVV in July 2016.
Stephen is responsible for managing all aspects of catering for residents, including special dietary requirements, and for the Moe and District Meals on Wheels service.
He holds high standards and a commitment to maintaining high food quality and presentation standards for residents and values regular consultation with residents about our menu and feedback about the dining experience at LVV.
Rebecca Brown
Finance and Administration Manager
About Rebecca
Rebecca is a finance and business management professional overseeing visitor services, financial and administrative functions within the organisation. Her role requires a combination of financial expertise, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of business operations.
Rebecca has varied industry experience including healthcare.
With over 20 years’ experience, Rebecca demonstrates strong ethical standards and integrity when handling financial matters.
Rebecca joined LVV in February 2023.
Lisa Mylne
Community Relations Officer
About Lisa
Lisa is a customer service professional with experience across a range of industries, most recently in community based aged care. Lisa leads our promotion and community liaison work, and guides new resident admission to residential aged care and retirement living.
Lisa holds a Diploma in Human Resources and a Certificate IV in Frontline Management.
Lisa is committed to developing positive and rewarding relationships with community members and stakeholders, and making the aged care service journey as smooth as possible for all concerned.
